ELIGIBILITY:

The "How Do You Doba" contest ("Contest") is open to anyone with a current Doba membership. Entrants must be age 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of Doba, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and production agencies, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

HOW TO ENTER:

Entries must be submitted online at http://www.doba.com/members/how-do-you-doba.html. Contestants must log in to their active Doba account to complete the entry form. Contestants may begin submitting entries on October 28, 2009 at 12:01 AM Eastern Time. Deadline for submitting entries is November 30, 2009 11:59PM Eastern Time. Upon submittal of the entry form, an email will be sent within 48 hours to the entrant's email address provided to confirm his or her entry to the Contest. By entering this Contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

JUDGING:

Entries will be judged by a panel of online retail industry experts, consisting of employees of Doba and Doba's business partners. The winning entries will be selected at the sole discretion of these experts. Criteria for judging will include various aspects of the entrant's business including the volume of Doba products sold, the effectiveness of marketing strategies, the creativity of product niche, the overall impression of the business, and more.

PRIZES:

Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place entries. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. Although many entries may be received, only three entrants will be awarded prizes. Prizes will be awarded per the following:

  • First Place – Lifetime Doba Advanced membership & KodakZi6 Pocket Video Camcorder
  • Second Place – Annual Doba Advanced membership & KodakZi6 Pocket Video Camcorder
  • Third Place – Three months Doba Advanced membership & KodakZi6 Pocket Video Camcorder

Approximate retail value (ARV) of the prizes to be awarded: Lifetime Doba Advanced membership, $5,000; Annual Doba Advanced membership, $539.55; Three months Doba Advanced Membership, $179.85; Three (3) pocket camcorders, $597. Total ARV of all prizes: $6,316.40. Prizes are subject to change based on availability at the time prizes are awarded. Replacement prizes, if required, will be similar in value and functionality to listed prizes and will be selected and awarded based on the sole discretion of Doba. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNERS:

Winners will be announced on or about December 7, 2009 and will be notified of their winning by email. Limit of one prize per person. Any prize returned as undeliverable will be awarded to an alternate winner. No substitution prizes will be made available, unless at Doba's sole discretion. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any taxes are the winner's responsibility. Prize acceptance constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation. Doba and its agents are not responsible for any liability associated with the acceptance or use of or inability to use a prize. Winners acknowledge that prizes are awarded "as is" and that any representation, guarantee or warranty, express or implied, in law or in fact, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose is expressly disclaimed. Winners will be requested to submit a video testimonial about the contents of their entry after the Contest has been completed. The contents of the video testimonial may be used by Doba, at the company's sole discretion, for advertising and publicity purposes.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to hold harmless Doba, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize in the Contest, or their participation in the Contest, or their participation in any Contest or prize related activity.

GENERAL TERMS:

Doba and its agents are not responsible for late, incomplete or otherwise invalid entries or technical difficulties with hardware, software, Internet, or transmission failures of any kind, which may limit a person's ability to enter the Contest. Doba reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be disrupting the operation of the Contest. No transfer or assignment of entries is permitted. Entrants agree to grant non-exclusive rights to the content of the entries to Doba for use in promotional, advertising, publicity and other purposes.
