6. Standard Operation Steps for Leak Detection

1. Install the matched adapter tightly on the radiator or coolant expansion tank port;
2. Connect the hand pump hose to the installed adapter firmly;
3. Press the hand pump repeatedly to boost pressure up to 10-15PSI (green safe zone);
4. Observe the gauge steadily: If the pointer keeps falling down, the cooling system has leakage;
5. Locate leak points for maintenance, release pressure via relief valve after test, then remove all tools.

7. Notes

1. Do not pressurize over 35PSI, excessive pressure will damage radiator and pipelines;
2. Test only when engine is cool, never test hot engine directly;
3. Check rubber gaskets before each use, damaged gaskets will cause poor sealing and inaccurate test results.
